Family Medicine Modular Course

FMMC workshop attendance requirements and appeal (M.Med)

Trainees are encouraged to attend all the workshops. If they are unable to, attendance of 3 of the 4 workshops (i.e. minimum 75% attendance per module) are mandatory for each FMMC module to be certified complete.

Trainees are solely responsible for signing the attendance sheet at each workshop, failing which the trainees will be marked as absent.

Trainees who have attended 2 out of the 4 workshops and wish to appeal because they believe they have valid reason for not attending BOTH the workshops may address an appeal letter (using the prescribed letter downloadable from the College website) with supporting documents (if any) to the Course Director for consideration within two weeks after the last workshop of that module.  Please note that reasons of absence such as call duty, vacation leave are examples of invalid reasons for missing workshops.
